Mentaru Care Support Workers

If you or someone you know is living with a mental health illness, disability or a psychosocial disorder/challenge we can help you. The list below is the people we help and provide services to within the NDIS and other funding bodies.

  • Cancer Treatment supports – (Support worker to take to appointments and treatments)

  • Justice System Supports – (Transition supports to facilitate someone’s transition from the custodial setting to the community that are reasonable and necessary and are required specifically as a result of the person's disability.)

Why Mentaru Care

All support workers and staff are thoroughly vetted with background checks and have the following at a minimum:

  • Criminal History Check

  • 2 x References check

  • 1 values and integrity reference check

  • First aid & CPR

  • WWCC

  • NDIS Support Worker’s Orientation Module

  • Experience and Training

 

We provide mental health training opportunities to all Mentaru Care employees and support workers from:

 

  • Mental Health First Aid

  • Youth Mental Health First Aid

  • Certificate 4 in Mental Health

  • Certificate 4 in Community Services & Disability

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid

  • Diploma of Mental Health

 

We provide support workers with the following backgrounds, education and generational experience that have mental health training & experience that create extraordinary impacts on the lives of our participants:

  • Nursing (Mental Health Nurse & Registered Nurses)

Pricing

All Mentaru Care pricing is governed by the NDIS price guide.

 

Mentaru Care understands that not everyone has the funding available to achieve the support and services they need. Our incredible team will see how we can work within your budget to maximise your support, whilst maintain a sustainable support structure.
